As UCF students enjoy their spring break week, freezing temperatures are expected to sweep across Central Florida this weekend, bringing the coldest blasts on Sunday and Monday.
Orlando residents can expect a low in the high 30’s for Saturday night with frost temperatures forming Sunday evening with lows in the mid 30’s. On Monday, frost temperatures are expected to dissipate after 8 a.m. Monday with highs near 67 in the afternoon. Wind chill values, however, will stay as low as 33 early in the morning. Temperatures will remain chilly for the remainder of the week.

Tuesday:Sunny, with a high near 74. South southwest wind around 5 mph.
Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1am. Mostly clear, with a low around 56. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 67. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. North northwest wind around 10 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. North northwest wind around 10 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday:Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. North northeast wind around 5 mph.
Temperatures in South Florida are expected to dip into the low 40’s over the weekend and Monday and remain with lows in the mid 50’s for the remainder of the week.
