Kool & The Gang will be performing in Orlando this weekend as part of Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras concert series.
“Kool & the Gang has sold over 70 million albums worldwide and influenced the music of three generations. Thanks to songs like “Celebration,” “Ladies Night,” and “Jungle Boogie,” they’ve earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top Ten R&B hits, nine Top Ten Pop hits, and 31 gold and platinum albums,” the event’s website says.
Kool & The Gang will perform at the Mardi Gras event on Saturday, April 6 at 8:30 p.m.
Then, for the final two weeks of the Mardi Gras event at Universal Studios, concert-goers can catch Pitbull on Saturday, April 13, followed by The All-American Rejects on Saturday, April 20.
