Universal Studios has just announced plans for “a celebration of Harry Potter” at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando.
The three day celebration is set for January 24-26, 2014 and will feature a variety of different events, including some with cast members and filmmakers from the film series.
“Come and celebrate all of Harry’s adventures at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. From interactive experiences to a private evening reception and more, this exciting event will be three days of unforgettable fun for all ages, set against the backdrop of two amazing theme parks,” Universal Studios boasts.
The event will be co-hosted with Warner Bros. and will feature Q&A sessions and film tributes with actors and filmmakers from the “Harry Potter” movies as well as other events including a wand masterclass hosted by Paul Harris, who trained the cast for the films.
Universal Studios is offering special packages that reserve seating at the sessions and include an exclusive nighttime reception at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Those tickets will go on sale at noon on Aug. 22. Most of the celebrations, however, will be open to all Universal Orlando park guests and will be first-come, first served.
