UCF couldn’t fend off the Crimson Tide at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational.

Alabama took home their second Isleworth Collegiate Invitational title this Tuesday shooting (-26) with a total score of 838. UCF placed second shooting (-14) and totaling 850 on the tournament. Alabama secured their dominance in the collegiate golf world by making this their third victory in a row. UCF isn’t far behind as they have taken home two titles out of four tournaments this season.

Kyle Wilshire led the Knights by shooting (-4) on the tournament making a total of five birdies in the final round. Not far behind was UCF’s Ryan Stovash, who shot (-3) on the tournament sinking six birdies in round one. Posting the best score for the Knights was Greg Eason who shot a 68 in round one of the competition.

Host UCF played well but were still no match for the Crimson Tide as they remained first throughout all three rounds. Trey Mullinax led the Tide by claiming first on the leader board shooting (-11) in all competition.

UCF has room to grow as they look forward to the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, FL on February 15th.
