Homecoming week for UCF will be receiving some national exposure.

According to UCF football, ESPN2 will be on campus Friday to get footage of UCF’s famous homecoming tradition, Spirit Splash. It is presumed that the footage of Spirit Splash will be aired during the UCF-Houston football game Saturday night at 7 p.m.

The national exposure for UCF couldn’t come at a better time, as they control their own destiny as they look to lock up a BCS-berth for the first time in school history.

Even though they are unranked, the Houston Cougars will be no easy task for the Knights. The Cougars are a high-flying offense, ranked 18th in the nation in passing yards and 12th in the nation in points per game.

However, the Knights defense has held up well all season. The Knights are ranked 18th in the nation in points against, allowing an average of only 19.3 points a game.
