Wawa has announced that their grand opening of their new store on University boulevard will be held on May 1.
The celebration of the new store opening will include ten days of free coffee, fan fare and hoagie building competitions between members of the Orange County Sheriff’s and Fire Departments. The grand opening will officially begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
“In 2014, we’re celebrating a number of incredible milestones, our 50th Anniversary, the launch of our community foundation, the release of our first-ever book, and the grand opening of 45 new stores,” said Chris Gheysens, Wawa’s President and CEO. “We could not be more excited to be setting the tone for 2014 with not one, but two new stores right here in Orlando, expanding the Wawa experience to more customers than ever before. We’re looking forward to having the opportunity to not just serve this community, but to help fulfill our customers’ lives in new and more meaningful ways.”
The University boulevard Wawa will mark the eighth Wawa that the company has opened in 2014.
