Legendary southern rapper Lil Wayne is coming to Orlando in support of his latest mixtape, Sorry For the Wait 2.
The hip hop giant will be playing the Gilt Nightclub outside downtown Orlando on March 22. The show starts at 9:00 p.m. and is 18 and up.
Lil Wayne has been one of the most important figures in music since the release of his album, Tha Carter, in 2004. Having released ten additional studio albums and nineteen mixtapes, Lil Wayne is known for such hits as “Lollipop” and “She Will” as well as more introspective tracks like “Mirror” and “Trouble”.
Although, in recent years, the mogul has become known for his downslide in terms of musical quality, he’s been attempting a career resurgence with his latest mixtape, hoping to hold over fans until the release of his long delayed album, Tha Carter V.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter of Lil Wayne’s work or a skeptic given his string of poor releases, this is a show you don’t want to miss.
