Orlando City fans did not give up on their team during the team’s season home opener on Sunday, March 6th. The large crowd of 60,147 that filled the Citrus Bowl watched as the Lions struggled against Real Salt Lake during the first 93 minutes. The Lions were down 2-0 when, in the last two minutes of stoppage, both Cyle Larin and Adrian Winter gave two good reasons why fans should stay until the final whistle. Orlando City ended the game on a high note with a 2-2 draw.
