The University of Central Florida Recreation and Wellness Center has decided to upgrade its gym entry technology.
Hand scanners will now be used in the place of what the fingerprint scanners previously did at the UCF RWC.
In order to setup your scan, students and faculty must first provide the employees at the front desk with their UCF ID, then type in their PID, and finally register their hand print.
Students and faculty don’t have to use the hand print if they don’t want. They can still simply bring their ID to the gym with them and give it to the front desk to swipe.
