The University of Central Florida has released the 2017 UCF Football schedule.

The newly unveiled schedule includes 11 Saturday games – a record four in September at home – and a Black Friday War On I-4 rivalry match with USF, according to UCF Athletics.

Scott Frost will lead the Knights in his second season as head coach on September 2 when FIU visits Bright House Networks Stadium. Memphis joins UCF at Bright House on September 9 for the earliest league game in program history, doubling in part to Parents Weekend at UCF. ACC opponent Georgia Tech will visit on September 16 for the third home game in a row.

The Knights will seize another opportunity to take on the Big 10’s Maryland Terrapins, this time in College Park, Md. on September 23. The Black and Gold return home to face Maine on September 30.

UCF takes another stray away game the next month with a trip to Cincinnati on October 7.

Homecoming on October 14 brings East Carolina, who UCF handled 47-29 in the previous season, and, for the first time, UCF will meet with Navy back in Maryland on October 21 in Annapolis. A bye week will follow this after eight games.

SMU invites UCF to Dallas on November 4th and the Knights will host UConn on Nov. 11 for its #UCFSalutes Military Appreciation Game.

The last two match ups take place in Philadelphia with Temple, on Nov. 18, and finally, to conclude the regular season, the War On I-4 continues as USF will be in Black and Gold territory for a Black Friday contest on November 24.

The American Athletic Conference Championship game is scheduled for Dec. 2.
