“Water makes up more than 70% of our planet,” Vice President of Theme Park Design Experience Brian Morrow said. “It was time for another water ride, and we’re SeaWorld — we should have all the ownership of water we want.”

“We developed Infinity Falls to tell new stories that showcase the beauty and sheer power of water and the amazing wildlife that lives in it.  The result is a new river rapids adventure for our guests to explore, and actively help freshwater ecosystems in a way that only SeaWorld can bring to life.”

SeaWorld Orlando has taken more of a thrill-seeking approach to attract guests in recent years, adding Mako, Manta, and holding Kraken, while still keeping its conservation aspect with polar and aquatic animals. Infinity Falls takes a family friendly approach to rides.

The ride lasts for four minutes over 1520 feet of track, includes 8 riders in one raft and fourteen active rafts while running. Class IV rapids will take guests over a 40-foot drop.

“It’s a family ride,” said President of SeaWorld Orlando Parks Jim Dean. “It’s going to balance our portfolio of rides. [We are] constantly looking at new ways to amaze our guests. Infinity Falls will do that and more.”

“From the excitement of the thrilling rapids to the unique vertical lift element, it will be an adventure that appeals to the entire family. Infinity Falls continues our commitment to investing in our park, and developing new ways to entertain and inspire our guests with meaningful, fun-filled vacations.”

Infinity Falls will be the centerpiece of a newly themed area. A rainforest village that includes play and education that leads to a positive impact on freshwater ecosystems. SeaWorld Animal Ambassadors will provide an up-close encounter with native South American animals.

SeaWorld’s “The Kraken” will be getting a virtual-reality makeover in Summer 2017 to enhance rider experience.
