Dale Whittaker, the Provost at the University of Central Florida, has been named the third finalist in Iowa State University’s search for a new president.

On Wednesday, Whittaker visited the campus on invitation from the Iowa Board of Regents and me with staff, students, and community members.

The first finalist, Sonny Ramaswamy (Director, National Institute of Food and Agriculture in Washington, D.C.), visited the campus on Monday, the Orlando Sentinel reported, and the second finalist, Pamela Whitten (senior vice president for academic affairs, University of Georgia – Athens), visited the campus on Tuesday.
