After back-to-back undefeated regular seasons, the UCF Knights ranked No. 17 in The Associated Press Top 25 Poll on Monday.

UCF also ranked No. 17 in the Amway Coaches Poll, marking the second year the Knights have ranked in both polls in the preseason, according to a UCF Athletics news release.

After going 12-1 overall and playing in the 2019 PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, the Knights closed out the season ranked No. 11 in the AP poll and No. 12 in the Coaches Poll, according to the release.


The Knights face the Florida A&M Rattlers to open the season on Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Spectrum Stadium.
