Just one day after it was announced that UCF plans to have 100% of the Bounce House filled during the 2021-22 season, the Knights received some more exciting news.

The Gus Malzahn era will open against Boise State will be shown in primetime as the game has officially been moved to Sep. 2 and will air on ESPN at 7 p.m. The contest was originally set to be played on Sep. 4.

This will be the first-ever matchup between the two Group of Five teams, as the programs agreed to play a home-and-home series. The 2022-23 matchup will take place in Boise, Idaho.

This will be just one of five nationally televised games UCF will be playing in this upcoming season.

The Knights will play on ESPN again when they travel to Louisville, Kentucky, to take on the Louisville Cardinals on Sep. 17. That game is set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

It was announced Wednesday the Knights will travel to Annapolis, Maryland, on Oct. 2 to face off against Navy. That game will be aired on CBS Sports Network at 3:30 p.m. EST.

The Bounce House will host two more primetime games, as the Friday, Oct. 22 contest against Memphis will also be aired on ESPN.

The War on I-4 rivalry game against USF will also be aired on ABC on Friday, Nov. 26.
