Hamilton Star Lin-Manuel Miranda and Latin singer Rickey Martin are scheduled to headline a LGBT initiative news conference for Hispanic Federation in Orlando on June 14. 

According to ClickOrlando.com, Hispanic Federation held a briefing on Thursday where they announced the entertainers will speak at the news conference supporting help to Hispanic communities in the area. 

 Hispanic Federation released a statement on the scheduled event and its importance to the Orlando community. 

“The press briefing will take place at the height of Pride Month and just days after the 6-year remembrance of the 49 lives that were taken during the Pulse Club massacre,” Hispanic Federation wrote. 

Hispanic Federation a national premier Latino nonprofit membership organization that was founded in 1990 that seeks to support Hispanic families and strengthen according to their website. The company was founded in 1990 and it’s Florida and Southeast office opened in 2015. 

The Conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday June 14.
