The UCF Knights football team has beaten Villanova! The final score was 48-14! Earlier this week, Coach Gus Malzahn confirmed that Plumlee would miss the game against the Wildcats. Malzahn also confirmed that redshirt sophomore, Timmy McClain, would take the coveted starting quarterback position for the Knights. All eyes were on McClain during the Knights victory against the Wildcats. McClain proved to UCF fans in FBC Mortgage Stadium and everyone watching at home that he belonged on that field. McClain took the reins and lead the Knights to victory against the Wildcats!
The next scheduled football game for the Knights is against Kansas State on September 23rd. The game will start at 8:00 p.m. ET, and can be watched live at The Bounce House or streamed on FS1.
