The popular streaming platform, Netflix, has increased their prices for subscribers… again!
Starting at the end of 2023, Netflix Basic will be rising to $11.99 per month and Netflix Premium will be rising to $22.99 per month. The most recent price for Netflix basic was $9.99 and the most recent price for Netflix Premium was $19.99. Netflix Premium started back in 2013 with an original price of $11.99. This recent price hike serves as an $11 jump from the inaugural price of Netflix Premium.
The prices of Netflix subscriptions have risen almost every year. If this trend continues, how far will Netflix push higher prices before they lose subscribers? With these higher prices, Netflix has to work overtime to entice new subscribers to hop on board. We will just have to wait and see what implications the price increase has on Netflix subscriptions.
