Friends, family, and the UCF community are coming together to honor Tim Schmidt Jr., a UCF student who died during the downtown Orlando shooting amid Halloween celebrations.
Tim was a 19 year old UCF freshman from Weston, Florida. His friends and family say he was an “extraordinary person” with a passion for soccer and a strong heart and soul.
To honor his life and establish his legacy, the Alpha Epsilon Pi Nu Delta Chapter of Central Florida started a GoFundMe, which has raised over $70,000 as of this morning (11/4/2024). “He was an extraordinary person, loving son, caring friend, talented soccer player, astounding teammate, kind soul, hardworking student and individual with an extremely warm heart and a witty sense of humor,” the GoFundMe states. Our hearts go out to him and all those affected by the Orlando tragedy.
