The UCF Knights delivered another win this night against the Jacksonville Dolphins with an overall score of 86-66. From the starting buzzer to the very last, the Knights stood firmly in control and provided great performance on both defensive and offensive sides of the game.
With all the pregame hype, highly touted recruit Mikey Williams made his highly anticipated debut. Coming into the game with three minutes left, he wasted no time with an immediate assist, and fans are hoping that’s just a glimpse into what he could bring in the future.
Keyshawn Hall paced the scoring for UCF leading in points, and Darius Johnson anchored the team on the glass with a high in rebounds. The difference came at the free-throw line, where UCF was able to convert 22 of their 25 attempts.
The Knights had a balance in their scoring. Beyond-the-arc points and those inside the paint kept Jacksonville on its heels. That ability to adjust and make their strategy more diverse on offense paid off in securing the victory.
With this win, UCF extends the winning streak to solidify its record to 9–2 in the season. Riding high with confidence, the Knights move into conference play on New Year’s Eve, where they’ll play at Texas Tech.
