After entering the transfer portal back in October of 2024, UCF kicker Colton Boomer has announced his commitment to Boise State.
During his time at UCF, Colton played in 29 UCF games, making 30 out of 42 field goals, and making 109 out of 113 extra point kicks.
Ironically enough, Boomer helped the Knights take down the Broncos back in the 2023 season. He made made all 4 of his field goals, which gave the Knights 12 of their 18 points scored that game.
Boomer decided to redshirt his 2024 season after not playing in the Knight’s 5th game of the season against the Florida Gators. It was said he fought an ankle injury, and as a result did not travel with the team to Gainesville.
After sitting in the transfer portal for so long, Boomer is going to play on the prominent blue turf in Boise, Idaho. And when he arrives, Bronco fans can give the veteran kicker some big booms during his remaining 2 years of eligibiltiy.
