In UCF history, one notable grievance students, staff, faculty, and visitors can all agree on is how strict parking police can be. No pass AND you’re in a UCF parking spot? That’s a ticket. And that needs to be paid.
Luckily, the Student Government and office of Military and Veterans Student Success are providing a very merry and bright solution for current UCF knights and faculty to indulge in.
Just in time for this giving season you get a chance to play Santa and donate toys with a minimum budget of $15 for the Toys for Tots Drive in exchange for a parking citation of $30 or less.
Unlike Santa, you do not want to wait till Christmas Eve to give out presents as this act of philanthropy continues through November and finishes December 5th.
Donations should be delivered in person to the Visitor and Parking Information Center office during the prime business hours of Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
Specific requirements such as:
- Your gift must be unwrapped when donating.
- The receipt of the purchased toy(s) must be brought with you.
- The citation must be registered to the individual dropping off the donation.
- You must not have received more than three citations since August 18, 2025.
- Donations will not be accepted after December 5.
