UCF Dining Services confirmed four new dining locations coming to campus this fall.
Restaurants Local Bites and The 407 Stack are arriving on the first floor of the Student Union, and Weekday is coming to Memory Mall. Knight News reported last month that Smalls Sliders will replace the Chick-fil-A previously located outside the Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC).
Local Bites will feature an alternating lineup of tastes from the UCF community, and The 407 Stack will offer sandwiches and salads. Weekday, initiated by UCF alumni, will sell coffee and matcha. Smalls Sliders will specialize in cheeseburger sliders.
The new locations come after a recent wave of restaurant closures across campus. Jimmy John’s at Knights Plaza and the Starbucks at Memory Mall have both removed their signage. Which Wich, the sandwich shop formerly located next to Huey Magoo’s in the Student Union, has already been converted to The 407 Stack.

Local Bites will take over the space formerly known as Knightcade. Pool tables and other games from Knightcade are expected to remain; UCF Dining Services confirmed on Instagram.
It is still unclear what will replace the Jimmy John’s at Knights Plaza. Knight News contacted Dining Services, but they could not comment on the details of the closure.
UCF Dining Services has added Local Bites and Smalls Sliders to their list of locations on their website.
Knight News will continue to provide updates on the remaining locations.
