Today, the Knights fought their way to victory against their familiar foe, the Houston Cougars, gaining bowl eligibility! The valiant fight in the kingdom ended in a score of 27-13, bringing UCF to a regular season record of 6-6. This is the eighth straight time the Knights will see a bowl game, and it will be their first in the Big 12 conference.

Players, particularly the seniors, were stoked to have secured the win not only because of the promise of a bowl game, but because of the chance to share one last victory together in the Bounce House. The team pulled out all stops, especially running back RJ Harvey. Rushing for 136 yards, Harvey scored his 16th rushing touchdown of the year, tying him with Isaiah Bowser for the second most in UCF history!

It was nothing less than a historic season for the Knights, who ended with a conference record of 3-6. Knight Nation can only hope for a formidable, and perhaps all too familiar, opponent for the eagerly awaited bowl game. The big reveal will occur on December 3rd, so stay tuned!
