All of the 2023 Conference championship games have been set for this upcoming weekend. It turns out that two teams playing for their respective conference championships were beaten by UCF earlier this football season.
UCF narrowly beat Boise State on September 9th. The final score of the game was 18-16. Despite their loss, Boise State will take on UNLV in the Mountain West championship game.
UCF dominated Oklahoma State on November 11th. The final score of the game was 45-3. Despite their loss, Oklahoma State will take on Texas in the BIG 12 championship game.
Unfortunately, UCF will not be playing in a conference championship game this year, however, the fact that the Knights beat two respective conference championship contenders proves UCF can hang with the best!
