The UCF men’s basketball team makes a return to postseason play for the second year in a row and the fourth time within the past eight seasons. Positioned as the No. 4 seed in the lower right section of the National Invitation Tournament bracket, the UCF Knights will welcome the South Florida Bulls on Tuesday, March 19, at 9 p.m. in the confines of Addition Financial Arena.

The Knights secured 17 victories in their inaugural season as part of the Big 12 Conference and are among the 32 teams featured in the 2024 NIT bracket.

UCF achieved its highest number of wins against ranked opponents in a single season, notching three impressive victories against No. 3 Kansas, No. 23 Oklahoma, and No. 23 Texas Tech, all on home turf in Orlando. This record surpasses the previous high of two wins, accomplished by the 2018-19 NCAA Tournament team.

It seemed like we would never see another War on I4 game, with UCF joining the BIG 12. However, UCF and USF will battle it out once again on March 19th. This heated rivalry game can be watched on ESPN + at 9:00 PM on Tuesday.
