At 10:37 pm this past evening, Orange County Fire arrived at Plaza on University to respond to a gas leak.

Two Insomnia Cookies workers shared their experience: stating that they saw firetrucks show up with masked men, who told them to evacuate the area. The two workers told Knight News that a Noodles & Company worker was using a gas-powered pressure washer in a confined hallway, causing carbon monoxide to build up, thus triggering the detector which then alerted the fire department. It is said that four people were transported to the hospital in ambulances.
