Taylor Swift swept the floor Sunday night at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Swift won 8 awards total, some would include: Top female artist, top digital songs artist, and top artist overall.
Sam Smith brought home several awards as well that included: Top male artist, top new artist, and top radio songs artist.
Florida Georgia Line brought home the award for best country artist while Pharrell Williams won best R&B artist.
J. Cole was later awarded for best rap album for his 2014 Forest Hills Drive record.
Las Vegas saw performances from multiple top artists that included: Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Mariah Carey, and John Legend.
