Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers Opens a new UCF Location

The UCF community welcomes a new dining location for students.

On Monday, Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers will open a third location in the Orlando area, this time in the UCF area.

11662 University Blvd will now be home to the new eatery, which will serve a menu of lean ground beef steakburgers, and Vienna beef hotdogs. Customers can then wash those down with a selection of freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

Freddy’s was founded in 2002 in Wichita, Kansas, and since then has expanded to 244 different locations in 30 states.

The franchise operator Brian Pyle said of the new restaurant, “We’re currently focused on building rapport with our area guests. Our growth has been steady and our name recognition continues to mature. We enjoy the area and our local guests enjoy our product and family-friendly atmosphere. Our long-term goal remains to open more than 20 locations across Orange County and Greater Orlando.”

Freddy’s will open it’s doors at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
