UCF Grad Crowned Miss Florida USA
Movies & TV, News — By Staff on July 22, 2009 at 11:23 amRecent UCF grad Megan Clementi was crowned Miss Florida USA Saturday during the competition on Hollywood Beach.
In addition to being a proud Knight with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Clementi is a dancer for the Orlando Magic. She also hosts “UKnighted” on UCFTV Wednesday’s at noon.
The Jupiter, Fla. native beat out 51 regional pageant winners from across the state.
She will now go on to compete in the Miss USA Pageant. If she wins there, she’ll move on to compete for Miss Universe.
UCF is no stranger to beauty queens. UCF’s own Ericka Dunlap was crowned Miss America recently.
The pageant will re-air Sunday, July 26 at 4 p.m. on WRDQ, Channel 27, Brighthouse channel 10.

UCF alumna Rachael Todd did win Miss Florida, and very recently, too. She is going on to compete in Miss America. Why no article about her?

Sorry if you were confused, but the article is accurate. Megan won Miss Florida USA. Rachel must have won the regular Miss Florida. You can see the Sentinel also reported that Megan won Miss Florida USA.

This story is not correct. Rachel Todd a Miss UCF 2009 contestant is the one that won Miss Florida 2009. The event was not in Hollywood, Fl but in St. Pete. Fl. Check the information on Miss Florida.
