A UCF release posted at 7:10 p.m. stated the Garage H closure was related to the Classroom 1 investigation.

A new UCF releae posted at 7:45 stated Garage A was also shutdown due to a “suspicious incident.”

KnightNews.com crews on the scene have confirmed with UCF’s News and Information spokespeople that these garage closures are related to the earlier Classroom 1 bomb threat. Classroom 1 is re-opened at this time.

KnightNews.com tried getting more detailed information about this incident from the UCF Police, but we were told the only person who could help us had gone home for the day, and they refused to provide any information, or a cellphone number to reach that person.

UCF’s campus news and information department had reported a person was being questioned in relation to the bomb threat to Classroom 1 earlier. It is not known if any arrests have been made.

Garage H is located next to the bus shelter by the Education Building. Garage A is located at the University Boulevard entrance to campus.

Police also are keeping traffic away from the areas where the garages are located.
