Urban Meyer has changed his mind and decided to take an indefinite leave of absence rather than step down and resign from the Florida Gators football team, the Orlando Sentinel is reporting, citing two UF sources.
The paper said offensive coordinator Steve Addazio will take over as the interim head coach.
Meyer broke the news to the team before their boarded their flight to New Orleans, where they will play Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl on Friday, according to the Sentinel.
