The much-anticipated UCF vs. Marshall game had Knights fans lined up by the arena as early as 4:30pm for an 8 o’clock game.

Students were eager to see our basketball team take on one of our toughest opponents as well as the Blue Man Group’s halftime show. The stadium was packed and the student section was at full capacity for the night. Fans that we spoke to were more than confident that our Knights could take down Marshall, though many recognized that this could be a close game.

The Blue Man Group wowed the crowd with an exciting halftime performance in accompaniment with the school marching band. The crowd didn’t seem to stop screaming from beginning to end.

Whether it was the edge-of-your-seat-close score, or the halftime show, this game was certainly one not to miss. Ahead most of the game, it seemed like UCF would take the victory as fans predicted. Unfortunately in the second half, Marshall pulled to the lead and ended up winning the game 81 to 75. Despite the outcome, it was definitely a knight to remember for UCF students.
