Patty Goodson is an Anthropology Major here at UCF, but when the stage lights come one she is singer-song writer Patty Bleu. She plays an eclectic combination of roots and punk music, pulling influence from bands such as the Violent Femmes and the writings of Emma Goldman.
Although she is soft spoken, her songs are not. Patty Bleu lyrics cover personal experience and her disdain of some of the facets of modern society all wrapped up in beautifully written acoustic music.
I had a chance to listen to her unfinished E.P, and I was immediately hooked, a surprise to me because I usually find myself ignoring any artist that classifies under the singer-song writer genre.
