Rock For Hunger (RFH), a non-profit organization that raises financial aid for poverty-stricken individuals and at-risk children, is hosting the Rock for Hunger Festival 5 this Saturday, November 6th from 3PM to 12AM on Festival Field at the Florida Citrus Bowl, located right here in Orlando.

According to their press release, Rock For Hunger’s fifth-annual festival anticipates their largest turnout yet due to headliners Keller Williams, The Lee Boys, and Zach Deputy.

Other notable acts performing include Rival Sons, Beth McKee, The Fling, and Beebs and Her Money Makers.

Rock For Hunger 5 will also feature multiple vendors, fun-filled activities, and three performance stages.

This festival’s main purpose is to increase awareness for RFH’s cause, as well as gain funds for all homeless and destitution prevention programs.

Additionally, the first annual Rock For Hunger College Scholarship will be awarded at the event to an at-risk student who recently completed high school, and is enrolled at the Lilʼ Rock Stars after school program at the New Image Youth Center. The winner of the scholarship will receive $4,000.

Rock For Hunger CEO and UCF alumnus Chris Goyzueta is enthusiastic to begin the festival, “We are excited for the ability to expand, establish an outlet for musicians and artists to share their talent, and to always give back to the community”.
