Netflix announced today that the $9.99 plan for unlimited streaming and 1 DVD at a time is changing to a $15.98 package. If you have the unlimited streaming only plan now it will not change from the current $7.99. They are splitting the streaming and dvd plans so that each one will cost $7.99 but you can also buy both as a package.
The changes will take an immediate effect for new customers and on September 1, 2011 for current customers.
