The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Strong Arm Robbery (no weapons implied) that occurred in the early morning hours Tuesday morning, July 12, 2011 along Alafaya Trail. A student was walking from a night club between the hours of 1:30 a.m. to 2:15 a.m. from University and Alafaya to Sterling Apartments located near the intersection of Alafaya and Central Florida Blvd.
Two black males in their late teens to early 20’s battered the victim and stole a cellphone. The clothing description of both suspects are white shirts, black pants, and one of them was wearing a red hat. The suspects ran back towards the main campus. The UCF Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office searched the area and was unable to make contact.
