Orlando City will face the Richmond Kickers this Saturday at the Florida Citrus Bowl in the USL Pro American Division Final and if Orlando wins they will only be one more home game away from the USL Pro Championship.

Last Saturday, Orlando defeated the Charleston Battery 3-1 in overtime in front of 7,609 fans for the clubs first playoff victory in its history leading Orlando in to this weekends match.

Against Richmond, Orlando is tied with Orlando winning at home 2-0 and Richmond winning at home 2-0 during the regular season.

“I’ve said all along that in order to win the title we’d have to go through Richmond again,” said Head Coach Adrian Heath. “They’ve beaten two or three MLS clubs in the U.S. Open Cup. This will be our toughest game yet.”

“I watched their Charleston playoff match and they were mesmerizing,” said Kickers Head Coach Leigh Cowlishaw. “Their movement, interchange of position and precise passing will be difficult to stop. We will need to defend very well, stay compact, disciplined and focused for the entire game.”
