According to WKMG Local 6, it was UCF student Taylor Lauren Wynn, 20, who died after losing control of her car on State Road 520 and Satellite Boulevard in Brevard County around 6 a.m. FHP troopers told the station it was raining at the time of the crash, and Wynn’s car ran off the road into oncoming traffic before being struck on the driver’s side.

Passenger Megan Montgomery, 21, was hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of the other car was not hurt.

Authorities believe this crash was not alcohol-related.

Wynn is from the Vero Beach area. KnightNews.com will work to provide funeral service and other information, if we’re able to find it. Email us at news@knightnews.com if you can help.

  1. I just wanted to pay my respects to the parents, sibling(s), family, and friends of this beautiful girl. I am so very sorry for your loss. I don’t know you or Taylor; however, I too, have lost a child (John Grosso) just over 2 years ago in a car accident and know the pain and heartache you are going through and what lies ahead as you try to heal and rebuild your lives. John was my only child and also attended UCF. Myself, his dad, our family, & John’s wonderful friends have all been affected by his loss and miss him every day. It’s not an easy road to travel, but turn to each other for comfort & support to help you. I will be praying for all of Taylor’s family & friends. With sincere sorrow, Elaine (Grosso’s Mom)

  2. One sweet day we will meet again. I know you are shining down on us from heaven. xoxo love you paper planes
