A crash near the University of Central Florida left one dead and one injured, according to Local 6.
“Troopers said that Dale Williams, 29, of Orlando was traveling north on Tanner Road on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when a car driven by Josie Moore-Boatwright, 23, of Grand Island, made a U-turn at the entrance of East Lake Elementary School in front of Williams,” Local 6 reported.
Officials told Local 6 that Williams’ motorcycle hit the side of Moore-Boatwright’s car.
The accident happened on Tanner Road south of Stonebriar Way at 12:05 a.m., according to Local 6.
Williams died at the scene but Moore-Boatwright was taken to Florida Hospital East with minor injuries, according to the Daily Commercial.
