Tropical Storm Alberto, the first named tropical storm of the 2012 Hurrican Season has formed of the Eastern Coast of the United States.
The National Hurricane Center showed the storm off the coast of South Carolina, according to its Saturday afternoon advisory. Alberto was located 282 miles northeast of Orlando on Sunday night.
The storm was moving south west Saturday, but was forecasted to turn around and head away from Florida.
