Breaking: Multiple people shot near Texas A&M University

We have just received reports that there has been a shooting near the Texas A&M campus.

The University issued a “code maroon” warning students and faculty to stay away from the west side of campus where there was an active shooter.

The shooting happened around 12:30 pm on Monday afternoon. The shooter has been apprehended and is currently in custody.

As of right now, the extent of the injuries is unknown.
