UPDATE JULY 26 11:00 A.M. Tropical Storm Dorian has weakened, now producing maximum sustained winds at 50 mph. The storm continues to move quickly West-North-West at 21 mph.
Tropical Storm Dorian has strengthened in the Atlantic, but still remains far from land.
Current maximum sustained winds for the tropical storm are at 60 mph as the storm moves West-North-West at 17 mph, according to the National Weather Service. There are no current storm watches or warnings for land areas.
The National Weather Service reports that over the next couple of days the storm’s strength is expected to have little change. Dorian is about 700 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands, off the coast of west Africa.
