Vice-President of the United States Joe Biden will be at UCF on Thursday, September 5 to discuss the important of ensuring quality of education for Americans.

The announcement comes after President Obama has been highlighting a plan to make college more affordable for young Americans.

The event will be held in the Pegasus Ballroom of the UCF Student Union. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. A limited number of tickets will be available for students on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be picked up at the following locations starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, September 3.

– Student Union: First Floor Guest Services Kiosk (Across from the Pegasus Ballroom)
– Recreation and Wellness Center: Member Services Desk (Main Lobby)

Each student can pick up one ticket with a valid UCF student ID.

All attendees will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.
