4 Rivers Smokehouse on University Boulevard opened its door Wednesday, KnightNews.com confirmed.
4 Rivers was originally expected to open up in mid-April, but the restaurant was ahead of schedule in the opening process.
“We caught a break on the delivery dates of the Smokers for the UCF Smokehouse,” Rivers told the Orlando Sentinel.
The 4 Rivers also has a “Sweet Shop” inside and will employ roughly 70-80 people.
