Just like the men’s basketball team lost with seconds left in the Memphis game, the women’s team came out with the buzzer beater, too. Except they were on the winning side. Gevenia Carter took the half court shot with 0.2 seconds left when the knights were tied 65-65 with UTEP giving UCF the win against UTEP 68-65.
