From singing in a stairwell to singing in front of millions of people — a couple from the University of Central Florida has made it to the big leagues.
Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton are contestants on the hit-singing show “The X Factor” and will sing “Toxic” during Wednesday night’s premiere.
Kinsey and Deaton, both 22, have been dating for two years, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Sierra recently graduated with a degree in advertising and public relations while Alex is currently a senior who is taking a break from college and plans to return in the spring, the Sentinel also reports.
“Simon Cowell is one of the best humans in the business,” Kinsey told an Orlando Sentinel reporter during a Q&A session. “We’ve been working at this quite a while. It’s been a dream to be able to perform and be in front of people.”
The “X Factor” season premiere at is Wednesday at 8 p.m. Tune in to watch the duo perform.
