Students at the University of Central Florida will come together and pay their respects to former student and journalist Steven Sotloff, who is believed to have been killed by ISIS terrorists.
Sotloff was a journalism student at the University of Central Florida from 2002 to 2004.
“Our UCF family mourns Steven’s death, and we join millions of people around the world who are outraged at this despicable and unjustifiable act,” UCF President John C. Hitt said.
The vigil is being organized by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Gauntlet and is planned for Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 9 p.m. at the UCF Reflection Pond.
