College Football Playoff Rankings have been released for the first time in 2015 by the selection committee, and the first four teams in are as follows: No. 1 Clemson, No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Alabama.

The American Athletic Conference is represented by No. 13 Memphis, No. 22 Temple and No. 25 Houston in a clear sign of the AAC’s dominance in the NCAA this season.

Florida itself can lay claim to two teams in the playoff picture; No. 10 Florida and No. 16 Florida State. The upcoming Clemson vs. Florida State game on November 7 will essentially determine if the Seminoles have a legitimate chance to make the cut as contenders, and their late season matchup against SEC powerhouse Florida will have a significant impact on their ranking as well.
