He has been on the run for five days.

Police still have not been able to track down Markeith Loyd, the man who is suspected of killing Orlando police officer Debra Clayton, five days after the shooting took place.

Now the manhunt for Loyd has expanded into Polk County.

The incident took place early Monday morning outside of the Wal-Mart on Princeton Street and John Young Parkway.

Loyd’s mugshot, pictured above, was tweeted out by the Orlando Police Department shortly after the shooting.

Now evidence has surfaced that the suspect shot Clayton again even after she lay defenseless on the ground, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

The manhunt has already claimed the life of Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy Norman Lewis, who was killed in a traffic accident only a few hours after the initial shooting.

The reward for Loyd’s capture now stands at $100,000, and authorities encourage citizens to call Crimeline at 407-423-8477 with any information on the suspect.
