A mother in Orange County is desperately seeking assistance in finding her missing daughter.

Madeline ‘Maddie’ Soto disappeared on Monday, just a day after her 13th birthday celebration with her family. According to Maddie’s mother, Jenn Soto, surveillance footage indicates that Maddie was in a church parking lot on February 26 after being dropped off for school, but she never entered the building.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has issued a Florida Missing Child Alert for Maddie.

Maddie is 5’1 and weighs around 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a green jacket, black shorts, and white Crocs. She has a mole on the left side of her nose and the right side of her chin.

Expressing her concerns, Jenn Soto said, “I’m trying to remain hopeful, but I’m genuinely worried for her. I want her to be safe; I don’t want any harm to come to her. I just want her to return – whatever that entails, I just want her back.”

Jenn Soto mentioned that sheriff’s deputies are employing K9s and utilizing an item of Maddie’s clothing to trace her scent around Town Loop Boulevard.

As of Wednesday morning, multiple search teams are actively looking for Maddie.

Over 50 members of the emergency response team from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office are currently conducting searches in different locations. Detectives are simultaneously canvassing, conducting interviews, and pursuing any potential leads in their ongoing efforts.
